How does Preserve blank-line paragraphs detect paragraphs?

One or more blank lines are treated as a paragraph boundary and normalized to one blank line. Single line breaks inside each paragraph are joined.

When should I insert a space at each join?

Enable it for English and other languages that separate words with spaces. Leave it off for Chinese text when extra spaces between characters are unwanted.

Is my text uploaded to a server?

No. Line-break detection, paragraph joining, and copying all run in the current browser page.
